Grandmother’s wedding dress reimagined for the bride’s new look🤍

When a wedding dress becomes more than a memory — and the beginning of a new story 🤍
For Diana’s second bridal look, we created a short dress from the lace of her grandmother’s wedding gown — carefully preserved for over 50 years. A fabric that once witnessed a single “I do” was given new life in a modern silhouette, designed especially for celebration, dancing, and a sense of freedom.
Upcycling of family wedding dresses is more than a trend. It is a philosophy of conscious consumption, respect for materials, and for the stories they hold. It is a tradition that can be passed down from generation to generation.
At MargaM Wedding Atelier, we believe that upcycled wedding dresses are one of the most beautiful bridal trends today — because they are filled with meaning. The veil for the second bridal look became a special canvas for personal symbols. We created a custom veil with hand embroidery: lines from the couple’s favorite song, two puzzle pieces with their initials, and a beloved family pet — all stitched by hand.
We believe that when meaning meets craftsmanship, truly one-of-a-kind pieces are born ✨
The bridal ceremony look was completed with our silk veil VI102 🤍
